Living together means participating in activities and meeting people.  There are many associations and a wide choice of activities in the different towns and regions of the canton of Vaud.

Volunteering means giving a few hours a week to participate in an association.  Everyone can do a volunteer activity they enjoy.  There are many different possibilities in each region.

The sports activities

Doing a sporting activity is good for your health and for meeting other people. You can do an activity in a group or alone, outdoors or indoors.

Movement is life! Read the brochure in several languages.

Participating in a sports club means discovering new possibilities and progressing. It’s about making new acquaintances and sharing with others.

There are sports clubs and free sports activities throughout the canton of Vaud. Request informationto your municipality.

EVAM can pay part of the costs for group or team activities. Ask your social worker or contact reception. A social worker will call you back by telephone.

Urbafit is outdoor fitness parks in Switzerland. they are free and open to everyone. You find the addresses on the site Urbafit.

 

The association Sport’Ouverte offers low-cost sporting activities for people in difficulty. You can register for an activity on the site Open Sport

 

Urban training is outdoor fitness training in a group with a coach. It’s free and it’s organized in several cities. You can register on the site Urban training

Cultural activities

Participating in cultural activities allows you to broaden your horizons and create connections. Some theaters and artistic groups open their doors to refugees. Municipalities, libraries and museums offer free or inexpensive activities.
